Liked our nicely furnished and reasonably large rooms in this place.

Location: the hotel was just off the minimart and city centre, and North Sumatra. It also was in the center of Berastagi.

The accommodation is located in a serene hilltop setting, and we were delighted with our newly furnished room featuring modern amenities like cable TV, a cozy lounge area, and a convenient work desk.

The staff is knowledgeable and amiable, as well as owner. The room is large for hot drinking water, also they can offer wake-up service.

On the positive side, the complimentary breakfast and dinner were both included in the price. the hotel was located in a quiet and peaceful area, providing a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. We particularly enjoyed waking up to the beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

Our stay was not without its negative aspects. the internet connection was incredibly spotty and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected.

The hotel could improve by providing hairdryers and more amenities.

I had the most refreshing and invigorating swim in my own private waterfall right outside my room at Hotel Kalang Ulu. The little pond was a delightful addition, perfect for a relaxing dip. And let's not forget about the balcony hammock – it was pure bliss! I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and rejuvenating experience.
